International Women’s Day 2018

How does that make you feel? Perhaps it doesn’t mean anything to you and is just another day in the calendar.

For me it makes me feel privileged and grateful, both on a personal and a professional level. I think of all the women I have come across both in my personal and professional life, friends, family, clients, peers, tutors, trainers, influencers and many many more.

I have learnt something from every women I have come across, a broad and bold statement you may feel, but just think about it. This can be both positive or negative you might see someone doing something and think “I am glad I am not like that” that’s an influencer right there and you will have learnt from them.

On a professional level, I am blessed with some truly lovely clients. For every client at every appointment I feel truly privileged and grateful that they have chosen me and they have taken the step to invest in themselves. I am always amazed by my clients, how they do things, how they are coping with the stresses and strains of life and how they cope in “their world”. To each of you, I am truly thankful, you are all “WonderWomen” and “We can do it!”

There are many lovely women who I would like to thank for being in my world, whether professionally or personally.

Today is a day to thank those, and to you I do thank.

Today is a day to celebrate and embrace being a woman.

We are all “wonderful women” you may not feel “Wonderful” but we all have the potential and also the opportunity to be wonderful, something other women in this world or have had to historically, fight for.

Emily Pankhurst, Eleanor Rosevelt, Mother Theresa, Oprah Winfrey, Marie Curie, Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai are all women who fought for what they believe in. What is it you are passionate about? What is it that you believe in? Whatever it is, stand up for it, embrace it and be proud of it.

I saw a quote today from Mala Yousafzai “Do not wait for someone else to come and speak for you. It’s you who can change the world”. Now “the world” has a strong meaning in this sense, but “the world” can be as big or as small as you make it. I know what “my world” is just take a moment to think about “your world” and how being a woman you can change or influence that!

Take a moment every day to take care of yourself. If you want to know more about how I help women in a holistic and natural way covering all aspects of Women’s Health then you can find out more below.
